I have never practiced writing a newsletter before taking my writing class this semester. It was a new experience for me and it was great to be able to learn something new. I now feel more confident in my knowledge of what a email newsletter is, how it is formatted, why it is used, and how to make one. I want to share with you a couple things that I learned in the process.

The first thing that I learned is that newsletters always have a call to action and it is very important! It is important that the call to action is clear and visible to the reader. It is important that they understand why they should click on it.

The second thing I learned is that visuals are essential when it comes to creating a newsletter. People love looking at pictures and it makes a newsletter more pleasant to look at. Visuals can draw a readers attention and help them find your products more appealing.

The last thing that I learned is that 90% of your newsletter should educate the reader and 10% should promote the products. This has definitely helped me understand what the purpose of a newsletter is and make sure that the content I include is appropriate and effective.

Newsletters are great ways to educate readers and promote your brand!
